The Final Curbside Brush Collection – Week of July 13

The Department of Public Works will be making a final curbside brush collection beginning Monday morning, July 13. Please have all brush placed at the curb by Sunday evening, July 12. Once crews have completed their route, they will not return for additional collections.

To ensure an efficient and safe collection process, please follow these guidelines:

• Only branches 4 inches in diameter or smaller will be collected.
• Stack branches neatly along the utility strip (between the sidewalk and curb), or along the curb where no sidewalk exists.
• Do not place brush in the roadway, as it creates a traffic hazard and may interfere with storm drainage.

Chatham Borough Public Works Department would like to inform residents that the Mulch Depot will resume regular scheduled hours Wednesday’s from 1:00pm to 4:00pm and Saturday’s from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
