Fire Safety Information
The Borough of Chatham Bureau of Fire Safety is the Local Enforcing Agency of the New Jersey Uniform Fire Code. The Bureau of Fire Safety is responsible for inspecting commercial properties including the common areas of multiple family dwellings, the issuance of Fire Safety Permits and for the investigation of fires.
