NJ DECLARES DROUGHT WATCH

The State of New Jersey is in Drought Watch as persistent dry and hot conditions continue to stress water supplies throughout the state. If conditions do not improve, declaration of a drought warning or a drought emergency with mandatory water use restrictions may become necessary.

Voluntary conservation measures during a Drought Watch can help to avoid more serious and restrictive drought conditions.
Did you know the average American uses 100 gallons of water per day? In the summer, outdoor water use can more than double.

Residents can only use water outside odd / even according to address of your home, watering lawns, gardens and vegetation between the hours of 6am to 9am and 6pm and 9pm. All water restrictions are enforced by the Chatham Borough Police.
