Are you organized, creative, and passionate about serving your community? Our Community Services team is seeking a dynamic Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support daily operations, outreach efforts, and seasonal Farmers’ Market activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both administrative work and community engagement.
The Administrative Assistant will provide clerical and administrative support to the department, including preparing correspondence and reports in Microsoft Word, maintaining spreadsheets and tracking program data in Microsoft Excel, and creating promotional materials using Canva. The role also includes managing and growing our social media presence, promoting programs and events, and planning and executing advertising campaigns through Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Ads.
Additional responsibilities include assisting with community outreach initiatives, supporting on-site activities, and working Saturdays during the Farmers’ Market season.
The ideal candidate is proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Canva; experienced with social media management and Meta advertising; and possesses strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, community-focused environment is essential, along with a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with residents, vendors, and partners.

Position Summary:
This seasonal role is responsible for the overall management and daily operations of the pool facility. Key duties include supervising, scheduling, and providing training to assistant managers and lifeguard staff; coordinating staff timesheets and managing supply inventory; maintaining proper water chemistry and overseeing filtration systems; serving as a primary liaison between the pool and the Recreation Coordinator; assisting with special events; delivering professional and courteous customer service to pool patrons; conducting preseason orientation for all pool staff; and performing other duties as assigned.
